GUTTER GUPPIES

Our Gutter Guppy program is a 6-week program for those younger (3 to 7 years old) community members who aren't quite ready for a swim team yet. The goal is to have them confidently swimming by the end of the summer. Most years we have numerous kids "graduate" to the team after a few weeks of the program. There are junior coaches in the water with the youngsters and one of our excellent coaching staff is on deck supervising the program. The start and end dates may be subject to change but we plan to start Monday, June 9th, and end Thursday, July 17th.

Each session will have about 6 swimmers. The sessions will be 20 minutes with start times of 10:00, 10:25, 10:50, 11:15, and 11:40. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). There will be no practice on Fridays. Select your start time at registration, subject to availability, as group sizes will be limited to optimize the overall experience for each guppy.

Registration opens April 1st. If you are unsure if your child is ready for team or Guppies we will be having swimmer evaluations on Sundays in March and April, please contact us at teamdirector@lmyaswim.com for details.
